General Payment Information for Potomac Edison Users

Potomac Edison serves customers by delivering electric power and maintaining power lines. They don’t supply electricity unless you don’t choose another energy company. In that case, you receive the default supply plan that is you can use as your Price to Compare.

The Maryland Public Service Commission regulates and approves the standard rates offered by Potomac Edison, but they are still higher than the competitive market rates. You can compare the rates and plans offered by other electric supply companies with the Price to Compare to check how much you’ll save.
